Low Energy Spectrometry & Simulation

11^th - 13^th November 2009, Vienna/Austria

Spectrometries of the low energy region are currently a hot topic. Many different experimental techniques (optical absorption, resonant inelastic X-ray scattering, reflection EELS, valence (transmission) EELS, ellipsometry, ...) as well as theoretical approaches (TDDFT, BSE, ...) to the dielectric function with little if no overlap between the different fields exist. Renowned Experts will present tutorials for advanced researchers as well as for newcomers.

With this workshop we intend to bring researchers from various fields together. To ensure fruitful discussions the number of participants is limited to 60.
